Hello, Family!
If you’re on this page, there’s a good chance that you’ve read or are close to reading at least one of my books. I am deeply grateful to you and count it a privilege to serve you. Of course, as members of Christ’s body, we are family. But on another level, my readers and I are family. We share an appreciation of reality that often is not seen in Christian literature.
I use the slogan, Words That Grip the Soul. That’s what I want my words to do whether they are fiction or facts. Neutral, passionless, or "And they lived happily ever after..." books have their place, and God bless His servants whom He has assigned that task.
In contrast, my task in non-fiction is primarily to strongly encourage eternal perspective and to boldly challenge status quo doctrines and religious traditions that harm or mislead the body of Christ. In humility and brokenness before the Lord, and with my finger pointed first of all at myself, I confess that I’m a reformer at heart.
My task and strategy in fiction is to use gripping page-turners to graphically teach biblical truths. I especially enjoy writing stories based on spiritual warfare and supernatural, book of Acts type, ministry.
Do You Want to Write a Book?
It seems like every third or fourth person wants to write a book. (Are you one of them?) Problem is they don’t know where to start—so they don’t. And for those who do, they’re often taken advantage of by a predatory industry of people who simultaneously promise them assistance while sucking their bank accounts dry.
I detest seeing would-be authors exploited. So, I’m thinking of starting an author coaching company specifically for first-book authors. My aim would be to save you money, time, and frustration by guiding you through the entire process.
Should I start this business? If I did, would you be interested in making your first-book dream come true under my guidance?
I'm writing my 17th book now. If you have the desire and work ethic, I can guide you to starting and completing your first book! Drop me a line at Eric@EricMHillAuthor.com
